A high-quality reproduction of the original 1911 government-style grip panels, in rubber, molded with traditional double-diamond checkering pattern around the screw holes. Hogue's exclusive molding process gives these grips a comfortable, soft recoil-absorbing feel and produces the ultimate grip for these popular pistols. The grips are made by OverMolding soft rubber over a hard inner skeleton or insert. Because the rubber chemically bonds to the insert, a smooth, hard surface can remain on the inside of the grip. This duplicates the precise stock-grip configuration and maintains exacting tolerances, ensuring a proper fit and a grip that functions flawlessly. This two-piece grip installs simply using your stock screws.
