This is a wonderful light weight sight for all types of shooting,especially close in. This is a perfect sight for pistols and an idealsight for mounting on a shot gun when turkey hunting. When the sightis activated a small red dot appears in the center of the scope. Thebrightness can then be adjusted for the best results in yoursurroundings. This scope has an 11-position click rheostat for brightness control.
